Press & Publications

Richard’s interest in the artists inspired by Walberswick and the Blyth estuary bordered on obsession. His detailed research was tireless and he never stopped gathering information. He became a living encyclopaedia and could speak at length without notes. As the acknowledged authority on the subject, he published books and contributed chapters to a number of scholarly works, as well as consulting on other authors’ works and on various exhibitions.
